• Stir the mixture, add the hardener in a ratio of 10:1 and stir in well (also possible by machine with LOBA Paint mixer). If partial quantities are to be mixed, these must be weighed out. After mixing, transparent oil can be used for 2 hours while color oil can be used for 1 hour.
• The surface must be professionally sanded. The floor must be dry and free of any old coatings, oil, grease, wax, silicone, sanding dust and other impurities.
• Note the LOBA "Sanding instructions for coloring parquet flooring".
• The optimal processing conditions are room temperature +15°C to + 25°C, floor temperature +15°C to +22°C, rel. humidity 40% - 65%, material temperature +18°C - + 25°C, max. wood moisture 12%, sufficiently ventilate working rooms.
• From a relative humidity of approximately 50%, targeted air circulation – for example through the use of fans – contributes to the safe and uniform curing of oxidative systems.
• In order to prevent parquet damage, the room temperature should be set to the annual average expected for the use of the product.
• Transfer material to a LOBA varnish bucket before applying.
• Shake the contents well.
• The side-bonding effect of Water-based finishes is reduced. No block bonding occurs with parquet or wooden flooring that has been properly laid and bonded or secured with shear-resistant adhesive.
• Observe general and, if necessary, product-specific occupational health and safety regulations. Further information can be found in the GISCODE-related operating instructions which are available under www.wingis-online.de.

Application tool / application rate

LOBA oil roller Microfaser 60-80 / 30-60 g/m², depending on the absorbency of the substrate. Equalise with LOBASAND SpecialPad beige.

Drying time

• Can be walked on after 12 hours.
• Light stress after 24 hours.
• Coverage after 5 days.
• The floor can be covered earlier by using LOBA Cover 400, for details see the TI for the product.

Roller application:

• Prepare the substrate.
• Apply a thin layer of oil using the LOBA oil roller Microfaser 60-80.
• Allow to work for around 30-60 minutes.
• Equalise with the single-disc machine and the LOBASAND SpecialPad beige underneath.

Application in combination with LOBA HardwaxOil / LOBA finishes

• Apply LOBA 2K ImpactOil by roller, allow to take effect.
• Approximately 30-60 minutes after starting the application, level with single-disc machine and SpecialPad beige underneath.
• Remove excess completely.
• Surface treatment with LOBA HardwaxOil or LOBA finishes possible after 24 hours. Wait for complete drying.
• Note: In the event of deviations from optimal site conditions, the curing of LOBA 2K ImpactOil must be checked before further coating with LOBA HardwaxOil or a LOBA finish (see TTT – Oxidative Drying)
  
  

Application LOBA HardwaxOil

• Apply LOBA HardwaxOil thinly and evenly using the LOBA oil roller Microfibre 60–80 or LOBA oil brush (approx. 40–60 ml/m² ; 20 m²/l).
• For highly absorbent substrates an additional roller application after intermediate sanding with LOBASAND sanding fleece and LOBASAND hook-and-loop strips may be required to achieve a uniform finish.
  

Application LOBA finishes

• Roll LOBA waterborne finish (according to technical information).
• Intermediate sanding with LOBASAND sanding fleece and LOBASAND hook & loop strip.
• Roll LOBA waterborne finish (according to technical information).

Important information

Not approved for spray application.Excess material must be completely removed during equalisation. Drying delays are possible on some exotic timbers.Keep soaked cloths, pads and other tools in closed containers. Moisten oil in combination with sanding dust, fabric cloths and so on with water or store in a sealable bucket and dispose of in a fire-safe manner, since otherwise there is a risk of self-ignition.Oil that penetrates joints will not dry completely over a long period.If fiber saturation is not achieved due to an insufficient application amount for example in the case of a single trowel application greying of the wood will occur after overcoating.Polishing caused by too fine final sanding negatively affects the penetration behavior and thus the durability of an oiled surface. Moistening before oil application improves durability. Observe the instructions in TTT “Moistening wood surfaces”.
